DC 101 - Week 10 - Apocrypha, Gospels, Acts, Epistles, and Apocalypse

We enter our final week of introductory work in the Discipleship Curriculum. Here is the breakdown for the week's workload:

Monday - Read 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Proverbs 15
Tuesday - Read "Violent Night, Holy Night" by Tim Stafford and "Is Jesus a Thief?" by Lance Hartman.
Wednesday - Memorize Hebrews 4:12 - "For the Word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates, even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart" - and review past verses (2 Peter 3:18, Ephesians 2:10, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 5:16, 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Timothy 2:15, and Jeremiah 29:11).
Thursday - Answer questions 1a-b and 2a-e (7 questions) and review memory verses.
Friday - Answer questions 3a-e and 4a-c (8 questions) and review memory verses.

DC 201 will begin in January, so during the 8 week break, we'll read Jeremiah. It's the longest book in the Bible, excluding Psalms, and carries a repetitive theme that we'll elaborate on during the break - repentance.
