Sean Hannity's "Man on the Street with Elisha"

Most folks are familiar with Sean Hannity. They may not know much about him, but the name likely rings a bell. He's a conservative talk-show host, and he has a segment of his show called "Man on the Street with Elisha." In this segment of his program, one of his assistants, Elisha, goes out on the streets of New York, and stops folks to see if they'll do a quick interview with Hannity. He politely engages them, asking their names, ages, and professions. Then he asks a political question, and the fun begins. Yesterday, he interviewed aguy in his early 30's, a guy in his mid 20's, and a gal in her mid 20's. All three were pro-Obama, though they had no idea why. They all favored socialized healthcare, despite admitting that the U.S. government is inefficient and wasteful with most of the programs that it operates. Hannity pointed out to them that many Cannadians, French, and Brits come to the U.S. to receive healthcare due to their own nations' corrupt and inefficient systems. When the interviewees pointed out that a socialized healthcare system would be cheaper or less expensive than the current system, Hannity asked them who they thought would pay for it. They replied by saying, "I don't know," or "I guess the taxpayers." That's right! "Obama will raise taxes," Hannity pointed out. In conclusion, Hannity noted how sad it is that these ignorant and uninformed voters will be canceling out the votes of the informed in the upcoming election. May God have mercy on us. We need His grace, for we surely don't merit His favor.
